Tonight’s your last chance to catch free Shakespeare in Queens

Queens-based Hip to Hip Theatre Co. wraps up its seventh season tonight with a performance of “The Tempest” in Flushing.

OK, technically the company has two more shows, one each of “The Tempest” and “Love’s Labor’s Lost,” but both are happening this weekend at Agawam Park in Southampton. So, unless you’re heading to the Hamptons for the weekend, tonight is it.

The performance takes place at the Voelker Orth Museum, 149-19 38th Ave. in Flushing, with a 7:30 p.m. curtain.

Don’t forget to come 30 minutes early for the “Kids and the Classics” program geared toward the 12-and-under set — and some of us well past 12 — which includes games and activities to help the kids brush up their Shakespeare.
