Here’s another sure sign that summer’s end is just a couple of weeks away.
Tonight, the Louis Armstrong House Museum in Corona stages the grande finale to the Summer With Satchmo season at its Jazzmobile Block Party.
In front of the museum, 34-56 107th St., the roadway will be closed to traffic as it becomes a concert venue.
The party kicks off with a craft workshop presented by the Queens Museum at 4 p.m. That will be followed by Story Time with Mick Carlon as he reads from his book “Travels with Louis.” Preliminary events wrap up with a hula hoop extravaganza.
Then, at 7 p.m., Willie Martinez & La Familia Sextet perform their own version of NYC Latin jazz.
