Tonight, Resobox hosts an opening reception for its latest exhibit “Dream/Doomed songs” by artist Miho Morita.

Morita, who was born in Fukuoka, Japan, is described as a multimedia artist, graphic designer, painter and performance artist.

She describes her other-worldly creations like is: “I have come to the chaos of New York City to maker art. Every day I wake up with different songs and different dreams. For this project I am projecting my dreams and subconscious mind into the translucent screen. I think all things consist of multiple aspects, and I am willingly trying to understand how they look.”

Morita’s exhibit runs through Friday, Nov. 1.
