OK, when we first saw a second production of “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” booked for the Secret Theatre in LIC, we thought, “Well, that’s got to be a typo.”

But no, after the Queens Players production of Shakespeare’s comedy wrapped up last weekend, the theater is prepping for the TITAN Theatre Co.’s version, which opens this Friday.

Do we really need another production so soon?

Then we took a closer look and honestly we can’t wait to see it.

Matthew Foster plays Puck and the rest of the cast: Alexis Black, Jonathan Matthew Finnegan, Laura Frye, Sean Hudock, Gregory Isaac, Ryan Lee, Llyod Mulvey and Emily Trask play everyone else.

And we do mean everyone else.

At the start of each performance the eight other cast members pick a slip of paper out of Puck’s hat. Each slip has a character’s name written on it and that becomes the part they play that night.

This has the potential to be a brilliant evening of theater or a train wreck.

So either way, we’re good.

The show opens Oct. 18 and runs through Nov. 3.
