After dropping off the face of the earth last summer –staff reductions pushed blogging to the bottom of a long to-do list –Queens on Cue is back, baby.

For the first post of the new year, we are pleased to announce the second annual Queens Kudos awards honoring the best in the borough’s theater.

Kudos will be given for best lead and supporting actress and actor, as well as best director and outstanding production.

Check TimesLedger Newspapers on Jan. 30 for the list of winners, but for now here are the nominees for Lead Actress:
