The five women nominated for a 2016 Queens Off-Off-Broadway Kudos as Best Supporting Actress in a Play delivered performances ranging from hysterically funny to heartbreakingly sad.

The nominees for Best Supporting Actress in a Play are:

Jacklyn Collier in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” at The Chain Theatre; Connie Castanzo in “City Girls & Desperadoes” at The Secret Theatre; Angela Iannone in “The Importance of Being Earnest” at Titan Theatre Co.; Emily Trask in “Othello” at Titan Theatre Co.; and Maggie Wetzel in “The Importance of Being Earnest” at Titan Theatre Co.

Winners will be announced in the June 3 issue of the TimesLedger Newspapers

  1. The actors this year are all outstanding! And I myself had the great pleasure of watching Connie Constanza bring to life the character of Lili in my play “City Girls and Desperadoes” in its premiere presentation at The Secret Theater. LIC
    Directed by Richard Mazda she found the joyful soul of this complex lady entertaining us in the process with her comedic chops and then switching effortlessly into shattering heartbreak.
