Best Play

The final category in the 2015-2016 Off-Off-Broadway Queens Kudos is for Best Play.

Four productions have been selected as nominees. They are:

“City Girls & Desperadoes” at The Secret Theatre, “Julius Caesar” at Titan Theatre Co., “The Importance of Being Earnest” at Titan Theatre Co. and “The Pillowman” at The Chain Theatre.

Winners will be announced in the June 3 editions of the TimesLedger Newspapers.

The Off-Off-Broadway Queens Kudos has announced the four nominees for Best Director of a Play.

The nominees are:

Lenny Banovez for “Othello” Titan Theatre Co., Greg Cicchino for “The Pillowman” The Chain Theatre, Terry Layman for “The Importance of Being Earnest” Titan Theatre Co. and Jack Young for “Julius Caesar” Titan Theatre Co.

And the nominees are:

Laura Frye in “Othello” at Titan Theatre Co., Julie Atlas Muz in “City Girls & Desperadoes” at The Secret Theatre, Christina Elise Perry in “Wait Until Dark” at The Chain Theatre and Leigh Anne West in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” at The Chain Theatre.
